I have had the joy of designing for Green Meadow Waldorf School (GMWS) for some time, creating brochures, advertisements, magazines, newsletters, signs, promotional materials and more in both print and digital formats, all to promote this wonderful school. Their dedication to consistency with their design guidelines, including use of beautiful student and alumni artwork as well as gorgeous professional photography, helps me as a designer present the warmth, depth and beauty of the school in all GMWS materials.
One of the largest and oldest Waldorf schools in North America, inspired by Rudolf Steiner's insights into human development, Green Meadow Waldorf School nurtures the physical, emotional, and intellectual capacities of the growing child through a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Rather than teaching to the test or adhering to Common Core standards, the Waldorf curriculum fosters independent, critical thinking and problem solving, develops ethics and morality, and promotes true joy in learning.
